I was out looking for a night of shopping for christmas since im not the type that likes the last min scramble to buy presents when i was finished my budged browsing i desided to try out "peel pub" at "place alexis neion" , this astablishment is quite new and has always been resnable in price for nions of years and as i am a student getting bye in life i thought to stop in and try it out. When i arrived i almost got the red carpet treatment I was escorted bye what looked like the manager and a hostess as well i was seated and right away i was served bye a waitress which in the past at peel pub i had to wait because of the shortige of staff or the young unexperienced student just trying to get bye like me. I was very thrilled bye the smile and warm greeting she gave me she made me feel like a million dollars. she asked me if i wanted something to drink i was unsure then i told her i wanted to have a glass of wine .. she quickly brought me not only one but 2 glasses i said "wow 2 for one" she said "is it not your lucky night tonight" , I am not a big drinker but I was very thrilled to know that I had already saved money.. I had told her that I was hungry and wanted to eat she recomended the steak, that was the most exspensive thing on the menu for the day I told her I would take it being only 8.99$ and thinking the service was already a dream. I then looked around and the place was so clean you could eat off the floors i took a smoke out of my cig box and was looking for a lite and a male waiter lit it for me :) The waitress was in distress about the fact that there was no more baked potatoes and asked me if i minded i told her not at all she asked me what salad i would prafer i told her ceaser ... just 10 min went bye and i wad a warm meal in front of me with a smile .. and no she was not gay lol. when i was eating the manager stopped to ask me if everything was ok? I told him could not be better.I found the steak to be bland a bit but the service was out of this world i finished up and asked for the bill then gave the lady a nice tip because i feel in life what is given comes back 7 times more in a good way with good things. I never finished my 2nd glass of wine but at least i know they do not recycle there lol wine or beer tee hee or i did not find a bullet in my drink lol if i could advise a great place to eat it would be there

The original peel pub was a place where elf and University buddies use to hang out many many moons ago (Peel and St-Cath)... until we found out that they recycle beer.... ooops :ssst: We thought about it for a week and then we were back because they dropped the price of the pitcher by an entire $1 lol :D

I don't know, maybe it's just me but didn't Oliver and Victoria go to the same grammer school. Please a paragraph or 2 to give my eyes a break would be good.

What's with the new font Elf.

hi victoriamontreal
thanks for the clarification
i thought i was losing my mind-
-the guy in the plaza kinda looked when i insisted there was one-
-and i was told gibbies is no more
so the peel pub was probably the replacement-
-this week i have a really busy work schedule
along with personal commitments.
but maybe next week for beer and wings
ill speak to you in advance to arrange something
oliver

Ever since the beer recycling scandal I have been afraid to eat or imbibe anything at this place, but I recently went back and had 1 beer after being pre-liquored on Crescent Street. Must say I really couldn't tell you whether the beer was recycled or not, and if you throw it back up what difference does it make anyway as it merely adds another level of recycling with a touch of bile.

Good place to catch the Olympics as you don't have to listen to the CBC "feel good" human interest BS stories on the athletes.
