One time I was there with 2 of my clients that come to town quite often there a gay couple which is unusual and i went in for the first time not knowing were the rest rooms are because as you say it Oliver its dark so i ended up in the washroom that locks different from the regular bathrooms i go to well i found that there was this strange feeling that I was being watched here i am getting nervous thinking there maybe trying to see if I'm going to spark up a splif or pull out my straw cause i felt i was really being watched i thought to myself wow they must have some top security here that really keeps an i on women going to strip bars maybe cause its some sort of conspiracy or threat to them lol but then before i pull my skirt to have a whizz i see some man staring in the stall in the side of the stall i freaked out lol i ran out and screamed you pervert what are you doing in the womens washroom is there not enough women stripping in front of you that you have to be some sick voyeur well he ran for his life and i looked on the door to find that i was in the mens bathroom but i did not know cause it is so really dark in there, im the sicko lol :)

someone has to share a bit to start this place off to a good start so it might as well be me
i never was a fan of this place--never found it comfortable..its definately in the top 3 for classy woman.. way too dark
i still laught it the term used by eagerbeaver to describe it.
comparing it to the bat cave which i definately have to agree on

Very funny, this will give some ideas to our fellow mercealers here. Go to the women's washroom, then pretend that is was too dark if they are ever caught.

The place is excessively dark, as I have noted previously it is like the batcave. A dancer who works at Le Club Downtown told me she quit Wanda's because she felt it was too dark and nobody could see her body.

Victoria's story about ending up in the men's room because it is so dark is pretty funny. The owners of this place should be careful because maybe some bats will fly in the door and not want to leave, as they would find the lighting quite suitable I think. :laughing:

well we arived probably around 1.45 here

we were seated up to the right as you enter the small stage-the place was packed.
if im not mistaken this was maria's first time in a strip club and she looked like a kid in a candy store.
we had a great time--next table over was this english speaking guy who had a girl danse--she went off in a huff in the middle of the song-was told by techman the girls who were with this guy made remarks which pissed off this danser-funny a coworker was at antoerh table becasue when i mentioned my palce of employment her pulled his id and i flashed him mine--weera t the same facality but on different shifts and our path enver corssed till tonight--small world--well we closed the place.
headed to kojacks after to inhale some food-funny some guy behind maria took her up in smalltalk when we left so i managed to pry one of her indi cards away from her and gave it to the guy--you had to see his face and reaction=priceless

I passed by, killing time in-between "appointments" just to check out the place and remenish of the old days and boy oh boy was it ever bad! Even tho it was prime time, I didn't see any seriously good looking girls as I use to and was use to seeing in there. To add insult to injury, perhaps because the ground level bar has packed and closed, it appeared that the entire building had a "for sale" sign on it. Not sure if my gut feeling is right, but I wonder if this is an end of an era. Signs of the times I guess. I was approached by 3 girls, none to my liking, quite frankly there were below average... so after a brief chat I told them I was leaving soon and they moved on. What a sad sight to see. I tried to keep a smile on my face that all the memories I had in this place, since the late 80's when it was only downstairs, will stay. Doubt it will bounce back, it looked pretty bad. Sad.

Yes, it's the end of an era. The 'perfect storm' of the smoking ban, increased "mileage" of contact dances, economic downturn, ubiquity of porn, "civilian" girls grinding and doing lapdances at parties (why pay for what you are getting for free), massage parlours becoming "mainstream".

When contact became the norm, I noticed a decrease in groups of guys going to the SCs. Fewer groups of businessmen having their 5 à 7 at the local SC just to drink a beer or two and see some beautiful women and maybe take a table dance. The SCs were more and more frequented by guys going by themselves and seeking the privacy, intimacy and mileage of the booths.

Don't forget that all these "businessmen" were working with corporate credit based on future sales that didn't happen. Speculation, big hot air words, hoopla hoopla salesmanship and corporate credit has been cut off across the board so no more office expenses.

What is really disappointing is to witness that management of that joint, as well as other joints, didn't see this coming, did nothing to adjust, kept the same hassling mentality they had from the 70's and failed to keep up with changes in their environment. Contact or no contact, thats not the point. The image and perception of beautiful women is the concept that died along with the quest to be teased, as in strip-teased.

There was one fellow, obviously an American sitting not far from me around the bar area that looked pretty pumped up and ecstatic about his surroundings of beautiful half naked women (well, almost beautiful). Bet ya they took him to the cleaners soon after I left. Oh well.

Memories of Melanie, Marie, Stacey etc will live on in my mind for ever, but the early 90's won't come back ever again.

She replied are you gay? and She said if you don't take a dance you promote slavery because girls are not paid to dance on the stage... 2 insults in 2 minutes what a stupid girl... I think at 40 years old and still a stripper... her only alternative would be flipping burgers at McDonald's.... if she is not already on welfare.

I won't return at this place. First time in 30 times I go to a strip club that I've been insulted by a stripper.... I should have complained to the bouncer, but I prefer to do it on Internet.

My advice is let's boycott stripclubs and leave the scene to tourists then prices will fall and our experience will be much better !!!!:lightbulb
